Exogenous Reporter Vectors

Xactagen's exogenous reporter vectors are designed for quantitative, functional analysis of cis-acting regulatory elements (e.g. promoters, enhancers, and silencers) and trans-acting transcription factors (e.g. DNA-binding transcription factors and remodeling proteins) that regulate mammalian gene expression.  We provide a number of vectors (promoterless, minimal promoter, transcription response elements (TRE), pre-cloned gene promoters, and custom produced vectors), each with a variety of reporter options.  Reporter Options include:

  • Membrane-anchored Gaussia luciferase (mGL)

  • Secreted Gaussia luciferse (sGL)

  • Ptilosarcus Green Fluorescent Protein (PtGFP)

  • Bi-cistronic vectors:  Designed for transient transfections.

  • Mono-cistronic vectors:  Designed for stable transfections.

See our Application Guide and FAQ to determine which reporter option is best for your research.  And if we don't have exactly what you want, we can custom produce it for you.
